Agresso Selects Nimsoft to Drive Aggressive IT Service Level Standards

Nimsoft emerges head and shoulders above other monitoring solutions for value, performance and functionality

London, UK – December 15, 2008 – Nimsoft, the “Big 4” alternative for IT performance and availability monitoring solutions, announced today that Agresso had selected Nimsoft as part of its business strategy to drive new levels of efficiency and quality of service.

Agresso, a UK-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) has deployed Nimsoft across numerous customer sites in the UK.  The move lays the groundwork for Agresso to establish comprehensive service level agreements (SLAs) for IT service delivery performance over the course of 2009.

Agresso deliver business information systems to the public sector and professional services organizations which range from finance and payroll applications to specialist procurement and HR solutions. Prior to selecting Nimsoft, all the key customer applications and underlying server infrastructure was monitored through a manual process.

Not only was it a time-intensive exercise, it also prevented Agresso from actively identifying issues and managing them before they turned into quality of service problems. After a detailed evaluation process that considered a number of commercial packages, Agresso selected Nimsoft as the preferred Service Level Management software.

Agresso will use Nimsoft to initially manage 95 mission-critical business applications such as SQL Server, Citrix, Active Directory and MS IIS running across 125 servers at 10 customer sites.
